SailPass Temporary Membership

SailPass"temporary membership" is available for persons wishing to sail as a skipper or crew in a sailing event conducted by the Largs Bay SC. 

SailPass membership is available to Social Members of our club, to sailors who are members of other clubs affiliated with Australian Sailing in the current sailing season and to visiting sailors, who are not a member of a Australian Sailing affiliated club.

SailPass Membership provides temporary membership and importantly, includes the personal accident insurance cover provided by Australian Sailing for persons who are not a member of any sailing club.

Persons who wish to sail at LBSC in club racing for more than 3-days in any season shall join as a "Sailing Member".

    SailPass temporary membership of LBSC

There are four categories of SailPass Membership offered at LBSC:

1.   LBSC Social Members
   You are a non-sailing member of Largs Bay SC and you wish to sail as a skipper or crew in a club race or class regatta hosted by the LBSC.
   Registration is $10.00 per member per day for up to three nominated sailing days at LBSC.
   If you are the boat skipper, you shall also complete the LBSC Safety Registration Form for the race day/regatta and pay the required registration fee for the boat.
   
   
2.   Members of other Sailing Clubs
   You are a current member at another sailing club affiliated with Australian Sailing, who is visiting LBSC and you wish to sail as a skipper or crew in a Saturday, club race hosted by the LBSC.
   Sailors from other sailing clubs, who are competing in class organised fleet races and championship regattas do not need to apply for SailPass membership at LBSC.
   Registration is FREE for up to three LBSC sailing days or any one-off event sailed at Largs Bay SC.
   The visiting skipper shall also complete the LBSC Safety Registration Form for the race day/regatta and pay the required registration fee for the boat.
   
   
3.   You are not a member of an Australian Sailing affiliated club
   You are visiting Largs Bay SC for the day and wish to sail in a boat as skipper or crew in a club race or class regatta hosted by the LBSC, but you are not currently a member at a sailing club affiliated with Australian Sailing.
   Both the skipper and crew shall register seperately for a SailPass membership at LBSC.
   Registration is $10.00 per person per day for up to three nominated sailing days at LBSC.  
   The visiting skipper shall also complete the LBSC Safety Registration Form for the race day/regatta and pay the required registration fee for their boat.
   
   
4.   A person, who wishes to participate in Kite/Wind Sailing activities at Largs Bay SC
   You are visiting Largs Bay SC for the day and wish to participate in a Kiteboarding or Wing Sailing event or class regatta hosted by the LBSC, but you are not currently a member at a sailing club affiliated with Australian Sailing.
   Cost per person is $10.00 per day for up to three nominated sailing days at LBSC.
   Persons who wish to sail at LBSC for more than 3-days in any season shall join as a "Kite Sailing Member".

When registering for SailPass temporary membership at Largs Bay please select the appropriate category to reflect your situation as described in categories 1 - 4 above.

If you have previously registered for SailPass membership or have an Australian Sailing (AS) number issued at another sailing club, please register by entering your existing AS Number plus your Surname and DOB to update your SailPass record.
