Date:             Saturday, 28th March 2026
Time:             Warning signal for 1st race at 12:30 hours
Join us at Largs Bay for the 15th edition of this regatta.
All dinghy, catamaran and trailerable yacht classes welcome

REGATTA INFORMATION
  • Competitors shall complete the Safety Registration online before 1100 hours on 28th March to register their attendance. 
    Register now to indicate your intention to participate.
  • Class start times, courses and any amendments to sailing instructions or this information will be posted on the LBSC official noticeboard at least 1 hour prior to the first race.
  • The warning signal for the first race will be at 1230 hours.
  • Courses will be of windward & return format.
  • The regatta will comprise 3 races of 40 minute duration (approximately) sailed back-to-back
    Races 1, 2 and 3 will be used to calculate results for the Flinders Ports Regatta.
    Races 1 and 2 will be used to calculate results for the Tic Philcox and Rob Murrin Trophies and combined with the results from the previous heat sailed on the 24th January 2026.
  • The LBSC Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions including Amendments for Special Regattas shall apply.

Other Information
The LBSC Canteen will be open for lunches and bar service will be available on the day.
A free Sausage Sizzle will be provided after racing.

REGATTA PRIZES - Donated by our club sponsor "Flinders Ports"

The "Red Ensign" Trophy will be awarded to the winning boat based on the Australian Sailing class yardstick ratings.

Prizes
will be awarded based on results calculated using the Australian Sailing class yardstick ratings 

 The boat placed first overall on yardstick  $500.00
 The boat placed second overall on yardstick  $250.00
 The boat placed third overall on yardstick  $100.00
 The Commodore's Selection winner  $100.00
  A boat selected by a random draw  $100.00


Class Prizes
 will be awarded for boat classes with 5 or more competing boats.

The Flinders Ports Regatta will incorporate the following LBSC Trophy races for LBSC members:
The Rob Murrin Trophy awarded to the first Senior Class boat in the combined senior classes fleet.
The Tic Philcox Trophy awarded to the first Youth Class boat in the combined youth classes fleet. 
Refer to LBSC sailing instructions paragraphs 8.2 and 8.3, which state that results for these two club trophies will be calculated using the Australian Sailing Class Yardstick ratings and the boat's LBSC personal handicap.

REGATTA ENTRY FEES

Please complete the Safety Registration online before 1100 hours on 28th March to register your attendance.

 Club members who have paid the LBSC Bulk Nomination Fee  Entry is included
 Senior crewed boats  (Any one crew is a senior)  $25.00 per boat
 Youth crewed boats  (All crew are under 18 years)  $18.00 per boat
 Optimist class sailors  $12.00 per boat

    * Please note that a revSport credit card transaction fee will apply.

All competitors should please read the Regatta Notice of Race and the Competitor Information documents.
