2025 Polar Bear (Winter) Series

It is planned that LBSC will conduct a monthly winter series in 2025.

All club and class sailors are welcome to join the LBSC fleet.

Regatta Dates are schedule on:

Round 1 . . . Saturday, 24th May 2025
Round 2 . . . Saturday, 28th June 2025
Round 3 . . . Saturday, 18th July 2025
Round 4 .. . . Saturday, 15th August 2025

Warning Signal for Race 1 will be at 1300 hours, each Saturday.
Up to 4 races will be sailed back to back (weather and time permitting).
Short Course racing format will be used.

Nominate on the club website after 0900 hours on each race day.
Please complete the LBSC Online Race Day Safety Registration at least 1 hour prior to the first start.
Competitors shall sign-off after the last race or when you withdraw from racing before the last race.

Class Nomination Fees:

Senior Classes : $20.00,
Youth Classes : $15.00
Optimist Sailors : $10.00
Bulk Nomination - Entry fee is included if you had registered for LBSC season 2024/25.
Visiting sailors from other sailing clubs may use your home club details to register as a LBSC SailPass member before you complete the Online Safety Registration to enter this LBSC event.
Visitors who are not members of a sailing club must first register as a LBSC SailPass member, then complete the Online Safety Registration.

The LBSC Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions for Club Racing shall apply
plus any amendments prescribed for Special Regattas shall apply for this series.
